When we started, this house was nothing but a shell. Sadly, mold was riddled throughout the entire structure, and the walls needed to come down. Brick by brick, we built a new home that would turn into a refugee center. Our focus began with feeding hungry families, and providing for basic survival needs like shoes, clothing, as well as wood for winter.
As time went on, we began expanding our programs and projects. We built a church onto the home, focusing on caring not only for the physical needs of the poor people of the village, but also their spiritual needs as well.
Over the years we have also focused on agricultural programs, like planting gardens, fruit trees, and learning basic life skills for feeding oneself. We believe in building a community centered around "teaching a man to fish."
